24. KINDERKARNEVAL DER KULTUREN (Children's Carnival of Cultures)

The Berlin Children's Carnival of Cultures begins every year with a colourful costume parade through the streets of Berlin. Just like the Carnival of Cultures for the "big ones", there are also imaginatively costumed groups of children and individuals who parade through Kreuzberg with their self-built floats, music, dance and their learned choreographies. We expect about 5,000 children, parents and educators to celebrate with us - and you!

Join in, dress up, put on make-up and move through the city with us on the [hopefully] beautiful Saturday of Whitsun and celebrate the 24th Berlin Children's Carnival of Cultures with lots of music. What the greats can do, we can do for a long time!

Pfingstsamstag, 30 May 2020

The costume parade traditionally starts at 13:30 - from 12:30 the groups gather and line up. This year there will probably be a different route for the first time, as road construction work is taking place on our traditional route. Voting on an alternative route is currently underway.

The goal of the costume parade remains the Gorlitz Park in which then from 15 clock the big children's festival is held.

All school classes, kindergartens and children's groups are welcome to come to the costume parade. Register here! or just come along in your costumes!
